A Harare man is in the habit of walking around the house undressed in front of his two teenage daughters whenever his wife is away, the Civil Court was told last week.
His wife, Evelyn Mukwaira claimed Tongai Matsika was threatening to cut off her breasts and set her ablaze.

Mukwaira is in court seeking a protection order against Matsika whom she was accusing of breaching her peace, Herald Reported..
"My 15-year-old daughter reported to my mother that their father was in the habit of walking in the house naked whenever I am away," she said.

Mukwaira told magistrate Mr Trevor Nyatsanza that Matsika recently chased her out of their matrimonial home to pave way for his girlfriend.
"I am now living in fear because he is now in the habit of coming to my new place of residence threatening to kill me and cut off my breasts. He also physically and verbally abuses me in front of our daughters," said Mukwaira.
Mukwaira told the court that she was ready to bring their 15-year-old daughter to testify.
Matsika denied the allegations.
"I never walked naked in the house as she is alleging. She is just looking for ways to please this honourable court to grant her application," he said.
Mr Nyatsanza ordered Mukwaira to bring the 15-year-old daughter to testify.

Should we relax and trust BOKO HARAM's presence is En Route to fight xenophobia

The Central Intelligence Organisation has claimed that an intelligence report has been made that the Nigerian militant group Boko Haram is in Zimbabwe en route to South Africa to fight that country over xenophiobic attacks.
The online media have reported in the country that police officers in sections of Matebeleland in... particular Bulawayo, have been put on standby following a tip-off from the South African intelligence service that the group is entering that country through Zimbabwe where it is feared they would carry out revenge attacks for the ill-treatment of several Nigerian nationals in the on going xenophobic attacks which have killed seven people and displaced thousands from their homes.

Officers were yesterday called for duty at around 9PM and are now temporarily stationed at selected police-stations where they camp.
Several cops were seen patrolling the streets wielding FN rifles.
The development comes soon after Nigeria in a stand off with South Africa over xenophobic threatened to fight back to close South African owned busnisses in Nigeria in protest against their nationals' attack. The country also threatened to pull out its diplomatic mission in SA.
There has been speculation in recent years that Boko Haram is really an extension of rogue elements in the Nigerian army controlled by politicians who wanted to remove former President Goodluck Jonathan. Ever since the new President Muhammadu Buhari, who is a Muslim was installed the militants group's activities have appeared to die out, somewhat confirming the speculative reports that they are truly an extension of the national army.
The Police spokesperson Charity Charamba could not be reached for comment.

my question is simple concerning this immediate  developments of the blood thirst Nigerian militant group Boko Haram  coming to Zimbabwe prior to arrive in S.A.   Are they really on there way to fight xenophobia or are here to extend their attacks to Zimbabweans

Broncleer hits GZU

Broncleer have become an instant hit at the Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) with students consuming the drug in that form to avoid discovery, nowdaily263 has learnt.
According to students who spoke on condition they were not named, the Broncleer have become big business at GZU with both male and female students buying the drug to get intoxicated.
“The Suppliers are from outside campus and they have links with students at the university who then sell to other students,” said a fourth year student who requested anonymity. Bronco is found in small bottles (100 ml) and each costs between $3 and $5 in the makorokoza filled combone. Under normal circumstances, one can get high after taking more than five pints of lager beers while with bronco — a 50ml bottle can be taken for two to three days.
The student claimed that a female colleague (name supplied) recently collapsed after eating a cake laced with marijuana and had to be rushed to Masvingo General Hospital.
“The female student was given broncleer by a male student (name supplied) and she consumed it before collapsing.”

Strolling around the GZU Mashava camnpus , one comes across heaps of smelly garbage here and there waiting to be removed by council workers whenever they have time, the will and capacity to do so.
One does not need much time to scrutinise the garbage but a glimpse can ostensibly conclude that drug abuse is the order of the day in this part of the capital as each dump spot is littered with empty Bron Cleer bottles.
Most of the youths in several tertiary institutions are abusing the Bron Cleer, a cough syrup popularly known in street lingo as “bronco” to get high, taking advantage of the syrup’s high alcohol content.
A student, who declined to be named at GZU, revealed that he became a victim of drug abuse after his friends persuaded him.
“All we wanted was to get intoxicated but we did not have money for lagers hence we opted for bronco.
“Now, despite the fact that I can afford to buy proper beer, I am struggling to overcome the problem of drug abuse as lagers no longer make me high,” said the youth.
The drug contains a substance called codeine phosphate which causes users to be intoxicated and an overdose of it has negative effects on people’s lives as it can lead to respiratory depression, constipation, restlessness, sedation, nausea, vomiting, skeletal muscle flaccidity, bradycardia and, in worst cases, death..days.

VENERANDA LANGA of the Newsday once published a story that mentioned  ABOUT 65% of Zimbabwean youths are said to suffer from mental problems due to drug and substance abuse, and unemployment.

INTERCAPE BUS HIJACKED

Reports say 48 Zimbabweans aboard an Intercape bus bound for Johannesburg in South Africa endured four hours of hijacking when four men armed with guns stopped the bus, robbed passengers of cash, cellphones and gadgets worth tens of thousands of dollars.
This incident occurred near Hammanskrall around 3.30 am yesterday.
It is reported the robbers impersonated police officers and ordered the bus to stop, went inside, brandished their guns and locked the drivers in a compartment and took the passenger list.
One passenger who was interviewed said “I hid my phone and about R10 000 in my panties. I gave the gunman R200 and he demanded my phone,” of which she said she did not have prompting the robber to look at the passenger list and call her next of kin.
“I was sweating fearing he was going to dial my number and the phone would ring. My sister refused to give him the umber, demanding to talk to me instead. She thought we we had ben involved in an accident.”
Another passenger said robbers stole about R40 000 from him.
According to the bus company, the robbery occurred in full view of police officers.
“The coach passed through police presence at the tollgate and stooped on the other side of the tollgate to do a driver change. The coach was approached by four armed men who then forced the coach driver to proceed to an area out of sight of the police and tollgate staff.”
